The Laurel Network is free, and it stays that way because people choose to support it. It's an independent, self-hosted infrastructure project — a small constellation of things designed, hosted, and operated on our own hardware. No ads, no trackers, no third-party clouds, no paywalls, and nothing sold. Just our boxes and our code.

There are real, recurring costs behind free software like this, and I cover them out of pocket. That's a deliberate choice, and it's how strongly I feel about keeping tools like these independent and open to everyone.
